The IPIX RX uses a seventh generation low voltage Intel Corei5 or Corei7 that virtually sips power. In addition, it has an LCD with high efficiency LED backlighting and a solid state drive. The result is one of the lowest power All-In-One computers on the Market. Hospitals and other healthcare facilities using battery based carts will benefit with long run times and increased battery life. Typical power consumption running Windows 10 Pro is less than 30Watts.
Cost Effective Solution
The base unit* is priced less than $1,600, making it suitable for a range of applications in a healthcare facility, including electronic patient records, surgical software and EMR admissions. The low power consumption of the IPIX makes it cheaper to operate as well; users save on electricity and battery usage.
Built to medical standard 60601 and available in three sizes
The RX series IPIX is available in 19”, 22” and 24” versions. All sizes feature full HD screens (1920×1080 resolution); the 24” IPIX RX is especially suited for running intensive EMR applications such as those from EPIC and Cerner. The medical grade IPIX is offered with a low leakage power supply to allow use in close proximity to patients.
*Configured with: 22” non-touch screen, Intel Corei5 processor, 120/128GB SSD, 4GB DRAM and Windows 10 Pro.
Durable and Light Aluminum Alloy Enclosure, sealed and ventless
The IPIX RX series has an all-metal bezel and rear enclosure, yet it weighs less than 12 lbs. The front screen and rear edges are completely sealed, there are no vents and all ports face downward to prevent ingress of fluids; it can be sprayed and wiped clean without damaging the internal components. Proper cleaning lowers patient infection rates from C. DIFF, MRSA other types of staph infections.
Fanless and completely silent operation
The lower power consumption of the IPIX RX series enables it to run without a fan or vents. Heat pipes draw heat away from CPU to integrated cooling fins on the outside. This feature, combined with the solid state drive, means it can run silently, without disturbing patients. With no moving parts, the IPIX RX series has excellent long term reliability.
Removable SSD for fast operation and security
Comes standard with 120/128GB solid state drive which can be upgraded to 256GB, 512GB or 1TB sizes. Solid state drives typically have access speed 50 to 100 times faster than hard disk drives. The SSD, furthermore, is removable to facilitate IT upgrades and ensure that patient data does not end up in the wrong hands when the computer is not being used for long periods of time.
Plenty of Options
All sizes are available with anti-reflective glass or a projected capacitive touchscreen. The touchscreen supports multi-touch and works with exam and surgical gloves. In addition, integrated barcode and RFID readers are available. A legacy RS232 port is also an option.
Outstanding Warranty and Service
The IPIX is engineered, manufactured and supported at our facility in Winchester, Virginia. It comes standard with a 3-year warranty, which can be increased to 7 years. Spare-in-the-air programs also available.
